Kristen received her undergraduate degree from Abilene Christian University in 1994 and obtained her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Tarleton State University in 2019.  She has worked for Safe Harbor Counseling Center in Willow Park and Azle and Wise County Christian Counseling Center located in Decatur as well as a private practice in Grapevine.  Prior to obtaining her master's degree, Kristen spent 20 years working in HR and business management.  She worked for Dr. Billy Eden, a sleep disorders physician, 12 of those years in a practice management role.

“Throughout my life, I strongly believed counseling could facilitate change, growth, and healing and knew counseling was my true calling.  However, when choosing a field of study, I pursued a business degree, as counseling would have required additional schooling.  After working for many years in various HR and management roles, I knew it was time to make a change.  My hope is that clients will view counseling as a critical tool and first response in bettering relationships and addressing anxiety and trauma, rather than a last resort.  I am excited for the opportunity to help those suffering with insomnia through the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as this allows me to continue working in the sleep industry which I genuinely enjoyed.  I believe hope and healing are possible in any circumstance and I look forward to working with you to bring healing and achieve your therapeutic goals.”

Brad is a graduate of Abilene Christian University and obtained his Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Tarleton State University.  He has worked for the non-profit Safe Harbor Counseling Center in Willow Park and Azle, Excel Center in Willow Park, and in the intensive psychiatric care unit at Millwood Hospital in Arlington.

"I worked in the sleep medicine field for 14 years.  In that time, I gained extensive experience working with patients to help them achieve a higher quality of sleep.  That experience, coupled with my training and experience in counseling, is offered to help those struggling with chronic insomnia.  I am also experienced in dealing with anxiety, trauma, and sexual addiction.  My work with addictions helps those seeking to break the bonds to prescription sleep aids.  My approach to counseling is emotionally focused.  I look forward to working with you, whether for insomnia or other life struggles."
